Interdistrict Transfers (IDTs)

Students living within North Monterey County Unified School District and wish to attend a school outside the district must complete an interdistrict transfer form from NMCUSD.  Our window for transfers is from January 10 to March 15, 2025. The deadline on March 15 is at 4 PM. 

1.  RENEWAL Interdistrict transfers: email or drop off the form at your school of residence.

2.  NEW Interdistrict transfers: contact your school of residence to enroll your student. If you are unsure of the school of residence, call 831-633-3343 ext. 1297.

2025-2026 Transferencia a Otro Distrito Escolar

Los estudiantes que viven dentro del Distrito Escolar Unificado del Condado del Norte de Monterey (NMCUSD) y desean asistir a una escuela fuera del distrito deben completar una transferencia entre distritos de NMCUSD.  Nuestro período para transferencias es del 10 de Enero al 15 de Marzo de 2025. La fecha límite es el 15 de marzo  a las 4 PM.

1. RENOVACIONES de transferencias a otro distrito: envíe la forma por correo electrónico o entregue el formulario en  la escuela de residencia.

2. NUEVAS transferencias a otro distrito: comuníquese con su escuela de residencia para inscribir a su estudiante.  Si no está seguro de la escuela de residencia, llame al 831-633-3343 ext. 1297.

2025-2026 Intradistrict Transfer (transfer between NMCUSD school sites)

Students living within the North Monterey County Unified School District (NMCUSD) who wish to transfer to a school other than the school of residence must apply for an Intradistrict Transfer. Intradistrict Transfers will be granted if space within the school requested exists for a new student.

Please download the form below, complete it, and schedule an appointment with the school principal to request a transfer to another school site and provide backup documents.

2025-2026 Transferencia dentro del distrito escolar (transferencia entre escuelas)

Los estudiantes que viven dentro del distrito escolar de NMCUSD que desean solicitar una transferencia a una escuela que no sea la escuela de su residencia, deben solicitar una transferencia entre distrito Se otorgarán transferencias dentro del distrito si existe espacio dentro de la escuela solicitada para un nuevo estudiante.

Descargue y complete la forma y haga una cita con el director de su escuela para solicitar un cambio a otra escuela dentro de nuestro distrito escolar NMCUSD y proporcione la documentación que se necesita.

1. NEW transfers within NMCUSD: schedule an appointment with the school principal and provide back up documentation with the transfer form.
