Born and raised in Monterey County, and a graduate of King City High School, I later left our area to serve in the United States Marine Corps.  During my time in the U.S. Marines, I had the opportunity to visit many areas throughout our nation and overseas. 

After completing a successful tour in the military, I returned home to Monterey County and attended Hartnell College.  I also became a California Peace Officer serving the Monterey Peninsula until my retirement. 

I then attended CSUMB to complete my Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Science, Technology, & Policy.  After completing my studies, I was afforded the opportunity to instruct mathematics at North Monterey County High School, which so far has been a rewarding experience.
