Computer Science Projects 2022/2023
CONGRATULATIONS to freshman Ernesto Duarte who won 2nd place for Unit 12 and junior Neil Torculas who won 2nd place for Unit 8 in the Spring 2023 Creative Task Competition by Carnegie Mellon University's CS Academy. Submissions come from CMU CS Academy participating schools, which are across the country and world-wide.
The contest requires students to use creativity, logic, critical thinking, and problem solving skills to create and code a project in Python that applies what they have learned. Currently, NMCHS offers Intro to Computer Science and AP CSP for 9th-12th graders.
