  • A Letter from the Principal

    Good evening Condor Parents and guardians. 

     

    This is Mr. Miguel Ocampo your new principal at North Monterey County High School. I want to welcome you to the 22-23 academic school year. Today was our first day of school and It’s was great to see all of our students back. 

     

    Please note that we have a new bell schedule with late starts on Thursday and Friday at 9:05 A.M.. Bus transportation will stay the same and make sure to check our website for the complete bell schedule. 

     

    Lastly, I would like to welcome Ms. Marissa Martinez as the administrator that will oversee our counseling and career programs. We excited to have her. 

     

    Thank you for all that you do to support student learning.

    Este es el Sr. Miguel Ocampo su nuevo director en la Preparatoria del Condado Norte de Monterey. Quiero darles la bienvenida al año escolar 22-23. Hoy fue nuestro primer día de clases y fue grandioso ver a todos nuestros estudiantes de regreso. 

     

    Por favor, tengan en cuenta que tenemos un nuevo horario con los comienzos tardes los jueves y viernes a las 9:05 A.M.. El transporte del autobús seguirá siendo el mismo y asegúrese de revisar nuestro sitio web para el horario completo. 

     

    Por último, me gustaría dar la bienvenida a la Sra. Marissa Martínez como la administradora que supervisará nuestros programas de consejería y carrera. Estamos emocionados de tenerla.

  • Our NEWEST Condor!  

    Mr. Miguel Ocampo is the new principal for NMC High School.  Mr. Ocampo has been a high school teacher in Salinas and Gonzales and he also has served in an administrative capacity supporting Career Technical Education and Educational Technology.  Most recently he has been the Assistant Principal at Gonzales High School and is now ready to take on the role as principal.  Mr. Ocampo is bilingual/bicultural and grew up in Salinas.  He attended Hartnell College, CSU Sacramento and earned his Masters in Educational Leadership from Santa Clara University.  Our formal principal, Dr. Chandalee Wood is serving the district schools as the Senior Executive Director for Secondary Programs and Services and will continue to support all middle and high schools.  She has an office at the NMC Middle School Campus.
