On August 3, 2017, the NMCUSD Board of Education unanimously approved the authorization to order elections within the District and to submit to the electors the question of whether bonds of the District shall be issued and sold for the purpose of raising money for the purpose specified within the Resolutions at the regularly scheduled November 7, 2017 election. The two resolutions and corresponding Monterey County ballot measures are:
