NMCUSD has transitioned to TalkingPoints to support secure, two-way communication between families and school staff
This platform allows families to stay connected and informed about their students' education through messages automatically translated into more than 140 languages.
Families can use TalkingPoints in three ways:
- Text using phone number on file with NMCUSD
- Download the TalkingPoints App from the Apple App Store or Google Play
- Access messages online at talkingpts.org/families
Messages will be sent in the preferred language listed in your contact information. Families can reply in any language, and responses will be translated for staff.

Rolling out a communication platform of this size is an exciting milestone for NMCUSD. While our team has worked hard to ensure a smooth launch, you may notice a few small items still being fine-tuned. If you experience any issues or have suggestions, staff can submit a ticket through Talking Points, and community members can contact communications@nmcusd.org.
