Public Records Request

We accept all forms of communication. However, it is most helpful and effective to send communication in writing via email. This allows for proper tracking and response to public request.

Note, that retrieval of some records comes from different offices within the district, and the written request ensures there is consistent communication as well as the proper records being retrieved.

• Provide a name and/or address for the records to be sent
• Let us know the way you would like the records sent (e.g., email, US Mail, Fax, etc.).  *There may be a charge when hard copies are requested.
• A clear description of the records you are requesting

We will respond within 10 days acknowledging receipt of your request. Often, we are able to send the records with the “initial response”, but depending on the size of the request, it may take longer to retrieve the records. In the district's initial response to you, an estimated date that you can expect to receive the requested records will be provided.  There may be requests that the district will need to deny based on the nature of the request.
