Regular Board Meetings Schedule
2024 Regular Board Meeting Dates
The Board shall hold two regular meetings each month. Regular meetings shall be held at 6:00 P.M.
- January 11, 16 (Special), 23 (Board Workshop) and 25
- February 8 and 22
- March 7 and 21
- April 11, 13 (Board Workshop) and 25
- May 9 and 23
- June 13 and 27
- July 25
- August 8, 22, 23(Board Workshop)
- Sept 12 and 26
- Oct 10 and 24
- Nov 7 and 21
- Dec 12
*Only one meeting in July & December
At least 72 hours prior to a regular meeting, the agenda shall be posted at one or more locations freely accessible to members of the public and on the district's Internet website via the online agenda link.
Audio recordings of the meeting can be accessed by contacting the Administrative Secretary to the Board.

North Monterey County Unified School District Board of Education meetings are typically held at 7:00 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month (unless otherwise noted*) at the North Monterey County High School-Media Center, 13990 Castroville Blvd., Castroville, CA 95012
Throughout the year there are several different kinds of board meetings that will take place. The types of board meetings that occur are listed below:
- Closed Sessions: The Board of Trustees meet in closed session at designated times usually prior to the regular meeting at 6:00 p.m.
- Special Board Meetings and Study Sessions: Throughout the year Special Board meetings are scheduled as needed to discuss and consider particular items.
Study Sessions are scheduled as needed. Date, time & topics are announced prior to each special meeting/study session. - Public Participation at Board Meetings: At each Board of Education meeting there is an opportunity for the public to make comments regarding any non-agenda matters within the Board's subject matter jurisdiction.
