WORK-BASED LEARNING

  • Work-based learning (WBL) is an extension of classroom learning into the workplace by connecting academic knowledge and technical skills to develop employability skills. Essentially, work-based learning is an educational strategy that provides students with real-life work experiences. WBL students learn what it takes to thrive and succeed in the professional world through partnerships with local employers and organizations that offer job shadows, internships, mentorships, and/or apprenticeships.
