Due to the recent State and Monterey County Public Health Shelter in Place Order, in collaboration with the Monterey County Office of Education and other schools within Monterey County, our schools and district office will continue to remain closed to the public until the end of the school year pending any further guidance from State and local officials. However, students will continue to participate in Distance Learning to complete their school year until June 5th. Principals and teachers will continue to make contact with parents and students to provide educational materials and support. Information regarding grading and graduation will be forthcoming. The North Monterey County Unified School District is currently engaging its community in a facility master planning process. A Facilities Master Plan is an ongoing process that results in the creation of a comprehensive living document. Both the process and document are designed to ensure that the school and community based plan is created through a consensus of participants in the facilities master planning process. The purpose of the plan is to develop and communicate an efficient course of action to change the District's School Facilities to better accommodate and support its current and future educational programs on a regularly updated basis.
