A RESOUNDING SUCCESS
COLLEGE AND CAREER DAY-WEDNESDAY, OCT. 10, 2018
Our annual College and Career Day was a resounding success. While the 9th-grade class was on field trips to local colleges, the 10th and 11th-grade classes took the PSAT exam. Our seniors took part in seminar discussions with a wide array of professionals representing a cross-section of careers. Our goal is to prepare our students for success after high school. Check out the gallery of photos below from the seminars.
A Rousing Sendoff to Seniors Night
Total Domination by the Condors
Friday, October 12, 2018
Our 1st Annual Jackie Henderson Memorial Cross Country Invitational was held on Saturday, October 6th at North Monterey County High School in Castroville. Jackie was an assistant cross country and track coach at North Monterey County who was tragically hit by a car while out on a run in the summer of 2017. This event was in her memory and will be held yearly on the high school campus where she taught science and coached. The course is 3 miles and features grass loops, track laps in a state of the art track and field stadium, and loops on a nature trail on the hills nearby. It has a mix of everything with great viewing and seating in the stadium and a very exciting stadium finish area. Seventeen schools, including two schools from Sac-Joaquin section and one Southern Section school, participated in the event.
