All staff members are fully qualified according to
guidelines published by the California Department of
Education Child Development Division. The teacher is
Red Cross Certified in pediatric CPR and First Aid.
Developmentally appropriate activities include indoor
and outdoor art, emergent literacy, language arts, music,
movement and science.
All teachers and child caregivers are required by law
to report suspicions of child abuse to proper authorities.

The Extended Day Program is provided before and after
school, and during winter, spring, and summer vacations.
The Extended Day Program enriches a student’s
school experience through homework assistance, curriculum
extension activities, and field trips, as well as the
traditional at-home activities of snack time, socialization,
and outdoor play. Children with disabilities and other
special needs are welcome. Parents have unlimited access
to their children while they are in our care.
Extended Day Program services are from 7:00 a.m. to
6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, year-round except
for the following holidays:

July4 - Independence Day • Veteran’s Day
• President’s Day • Day before school
begins • Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day plus three additional days during
the Christmas vacation period
A sliding scale determines the appropriate fee for each
family according to the Confidential Application for Enrollment
and the Enrollment Contract submitted by the parent. Enrollment
is based on availability.
