All of our school instructional programs
are standards based, as established by the State of California.
Our instructional program is designed to improve student achievement,
utilizing specific assessments to focus instruction as well
as academic interventions to ensure that all students meet
challenging content standards.
All grade level curriculum has a specific
emphasis on Language Arts and Math. We also promote the arts
and sciences at all grade levels. Our middle and high school
band, sports, and other extracurricular programs are exemplary.
Parent involvement is an important part of
NMCUSD. Parents are encouraged to be part of the school through
the School Site Council, Parent Teacher Group, the Bilingual
Advisory Committee, or helping in the classroom. You are an
integral part of our instructional program.
We are proud of the cultural diversity in
our school community. We foster this diversity and believe
it is an important instructional asset for the 21st Century.
